Sophia is a Dallas-born & NYC-based folk-rock artist, songwriter, and illustrator. After graduating from NYU's vocal performance program in 2023, she finally focused her efforts on recording, producing, and releasing songs from the stockpile of music exclusive only to the four walls of her studio apartment and her small fanbase (her parents). Since then, she has played her original songs alongside her wonderful band of best friends at notable venues such as Hotel Vegas (SXSW), the Granada Theatre, Berlin Under A, & more.

Sophia is a sensitive soul whose lyrics aim to  tell compelling stories, recall nostalgia, and repair childhood  memories piece by piece. Shackled by self-awareness, her writing shines a spotlight on a her complicated family, her old yellow house, the passing of distant friends, the passage of time, and the loss of comforting familiarity at her elderly age of 23. In her upcoming release, "All but mine," she reflects upon a time of emotional isolation and makes a daring escape attempt from the confines of a tarnished home.
